Get into the S.W.I.N.G. (Skillful Women Inspiring New Golfers)!   In the S.W.I.N.G. program, experienced golfers team with newer golfers to help new golfers feel comfortable on the course. S.W.I.N.G. is what EWGA is all about - helping women enter the game of golf in a fun, supportive environment!  Mentors and mentees may sign up by contacting Ann Relling, Golf Education Chair, at 314-394-0140 or annrelling@earthlink.net.

FOR BEGINNERS (New to the game or those with less than 2 years experience)

Golf Lesson Series with Jill Bertram at Golfport of Maryland Heights:  

• Saturday April 25, 9 to 10 a.m. (1 hour) Cost:  $30

• Sunday May 17, 1 to 2 p.m. (1 hour) Cost:  $30

ON THE COURSE PLAY FOR BEGINNERS with Michael Rodney (Members only)

These events are designed to let beginners get oriented to the golf course and all that goes along with it. These are not lessons but a friendly environment to get acquainted with rules, etiquette and pace of play.  This is a good time to practice what you learn in lessons. Members can sign up for one, two or all three sessions. No charge other than greens fees to the course.

• Saturday April 18 - Riverside Golf Course Par 3, 9 holes
• Saturday May 9 - Paradise Valley, 9 holes, 2 person alternate shot round
• Saturday May 23 - Crystal Springs Quarry, 18 hole 4 person scramble
